Fishery environmental protection and governance is a natural science and interdisciplinary, organic combination of social science interdisciplinary. This subject is based on the basic theory of environmental protection, environmental management and public management, combined with the characteristics of fisheries waters,takes fishing in the harmony of biological resources and fishery waters environment development as the goal, applying monitoring and evaluation of water environment, environment protection, environmental governance and public policy analysis, public management methods, research policy, law, system and management measures for environmental protection and management of fisheries. The main research directions include: professional fishery environment protection and management legal system of fishery environmental protection and management; management system; fishery environment resources policy.
