Science of Fishery Resources

 

1.        Introduction of Discipline

Science of fishery resources is one of the second-rate subjects of the aquatic disciplines, which studies on the fisheries biology, population dynamics and fisheries resources management. It not only serves as the theoretical basis for the sustainable development and utilization and management and preservation of fisheries resources, but the one for decision making. The main research orientations include fisheries biology, fishery resources evaluation, ocean ecosystem dynamics and fishery management policy and management.
