1. Discipline and Major Introduction

      Mechanical engineering discipline was developed based on the Fishery Mechanical Major founded in 1958. Mechanical Engineering 1st class master’s degree authorization discipline began recruit students from 2011, including Mechanical manufacturing and automation, mechatronic engineering, mechanical design and theory, vehicle engineering. This discipline mainly focuses on the engineering research of ocean engineering and equipment, aquaculture, food processing machinery, new energy development and application, modern logistics. The research is mainly about the design theory and method in mechanical manufacturing, theory and application technology in manufacturing process and system, application theory and method in mechatronic field. In recent years, the mechanical discipline has finished multiple national and provincial research projects and cultivated a group of talents that can independently conduct theory and application research in this field.
